LOGISTICAL INFORMATION

How do I get to the fair? The Fulbright Commission will provide a free shuttle bus for representatives. Representatives taking the shuttle will meet in front of the Starbucks in the main lobby of the Central Station at 3:45 p.m. (TBC) and walk to meet the shuttle, which will leave from the Brussels Central Station at exactly 4:00 p.m. (TBC). Representatives will also be able to take the same shuttle bus back to Brussels Central Station after the event at at approximately 10:00 p.m. (TBC). Please note that representatives must reserve their seat on this shuttle in advance by emailing secretary@fulbright.be with their name, institution, and contact information.

Representatives may also choose to take their own transportation to the fair. If you prefer to reserve a taxi in advance, please ask your hotel concierge or try Taxi Bleus (email: taxisbleus@skynet.be, telephone: +32 02/204.21.11; limited English spoken). Other taxi services include Taxis Verts (02/ 349.49.49) Coopération des Taxis Ucclois (02/374.20.20) and Autolux (02/512.31.23). Autolux offers a “round trip/aller-retour” from the airport at a reduced rate: give them the address to which you are going, which must be the same as where you will depart from, and they will give you a coupon for the return trip.

While navigating, please note that streets and signs are labeled in the two official languages of Brussels: French and Dutch. However, most people will be able to assist you in English if necessary.

For security purposes, we ask that you please bring a photo ID along with you when arriving to the fair.

How can I transport physical materials to the fair? You may ship printed materials or equipment to St. John’s International School in advance. Please make sure to label your boxes “Brussels College Night.”

In the past, many representatives have used OCS to ship their materials. If you are interested, please visit www.shipocs.com or contact Dave Rosenthal at drosenthal@shipOCS.com.
Universities are encouraged to bring materials about any NCAA, NIAI, or NJCAA athletic programs and/or Summer and English Language Programs available for international students at their school. Representatives are also encouraged to collect information from their university about how many Belgian applicants and matriculated students they welcomed during the last academic year before they embark on their travel.

What will be provided for me? TBA
