AT THE FAIR
What should I expect from Brussels College Night? Brussels College Night has traditionally been held in the large auditorium or gym of one of the international schools in the Brussels area, and typically begins with an hour-long panel discussion in the school auditorium or theater. (Representatives interested in participating in this panel discussion should indicate this on their registration form.) Visit the BCN Experience section of our website to see photos from past events and get a sense of what to expect from the event.
What should I bring with me? For security purposes, we ask that you please bring a photo ID along with you when arriving to the fair. Universities are encouraged to bring materials about any NCAA, NIAI, or NJCAA athletic programs and/or Summer and English Language Programs available for international students at their schools. Representatives are also encouraged to collect information from their university about how many Belgian applicants and matriculated students they welcomed during the last academic year before they embark on their travel.
How can I transport physical materials to the fair? You may ship printed materials or equipment to the British School of Brussels in advance. More information will be provided soon.
What will be provided for me at the fair? The British School of Brussels will be providing each institution with a table, a chair, and a water bottle. You will also find a sweet treat waiting for you, courtesy of the international schools in Belgium!
BEFORE & AFTER THE FAIR
How do I get to the fair? The Fulbright Commission will provide a free shuttle bus for representatives. Representatives taking the shuttle will meet in front of the Starbucks in the main lobby of the Central Station at 4:00 p.m. and walk to meet the shuttle, which will leave from the Brussels Central Station at exactly 4:30 p.m. Representatives will also be able to take the same shuttle bus back to Brussels Central Station after the event at at approximately 10:00 p.m. Please note that representatives must reserve their seat on this shuttle in advance by emailing email@example.com with their name, institution, and contact information.
Representatives may also choose to take their own transportation to the fair. If you prefer to reserve a taxi in advance, please try Taxi Bleus (email: firstname.lastname@example.org, telephone: +32 02 204 21 11) or Taxis Verts (+32 02 349 49 49) or ask your hotel concierge.
Where should I plan to stay? We recommend that university representatives stay at a hotel near Brussels Central Station or Brussels Airport Zaventem, as there is a train that connects the airport directly with Brussels Central. The trains run every 15-20 minutes and the one-way trip takes approximately 15 minutes. You will find a few hotel recommendations below:
